Rating: On the 0-Christmas scale this gets Charlie Brown Christmas Tree
IMDB rated it 6.8/10

This 2019 Hallmark original is well worth the time. IMDB rated it higher than the other premiers of the season and it is easy to see why.
The plot was a stretch. An investment banker loses his job and ends up working in a Christmas tree lot, where he learns the meaning of life and the universe. He also happens to stumble into an attractive lady down on her luck with no time to meet a decent man, and no father figure for her son.
In essence, this is as original a plot that Hallmark will ever have. No inns, no country girl gone to the city and now back to the country, no idiot boyfriends.
I will admit, I liked this flick much better than my wife. She thought the acting was cheesy. I thought it was Hallmark-y. The main male character did look a little like he could be related to Michael Buble, but I wasn’t going to hold it against him, or my wife. She loves Buble, and I’ve come to terms with it.
For a feel good movie with some decent acting and a decent plot, snuggle up with a hot beverage and turn on this flick. I don’t think you will be disappointed
