Don’t be fooled Christmas movie watchers! While it may appear to be a Hallmark, this movie is produced by the scandalous Harlequin; however, the movie is clean and a blush-free rated PG. Don’t let that stop you though, this film comes with its fair share of twists and turns, and subtlety…
My wife and I watched this over the Thanksgiving Break on Netflix, and were pleasantly surprised for a few reasons. One, because it’s a Harlequin (inside family joke), and two, because the actress had some funny moments.
And then….the end. It was too fast moving, completely far-fetched, and felt like we had just been robbed of two-hours. Harlequin is hardly known for their complete plot, and it shows. But, seriously, why get 3 minutes from the end and cram in 18-months.
Save your time on this one Christmas movie watchers and opt for something else. Think I’m crazy, the Rotten Tomatoes audience gave it 6%…I guess we are the crazy ones for not checking first!
