Rating: On the 0-Christmas scale this gets Stockings
IMDB rated it 5.6/10 …I think they were wrong!
I don’t often disagree with IMDB rankings. In this case, I do whole-heartily and without reservation.
What Candace Cameron Bure is to Hallmark, Vanessa Hudgens has become to Netflix. Last year she starred in the The Princess Switch. This year she stars in this beauty. The subtitle of the flick is “A Modern Day Romance with a Midieval Twist”! It doesn’t take a genius to catch that some time travel is involved.
And it was fantastic. It wasn’t the best movie. It wasn’t the best acting. But it was hilarious at times and kept us laughing throughout. A knight who calls everyone crone or wench. Or who hilariously quips with lines learned off the TV. All while wearing a sword through modern day America….
This isn’t going to win any Oscars, but for a light-hearted Christmas movie, this one hit the mark!
